Starbucks isn't on the list, but I think you get the picture... and we're worried about GAS???
We should feel blessed that gas goes for $3 a gallon. Not only is it cheaper than many of the other fluids we use, but if the true military and environmental costs of using it were factored into its cost, we'd envy the Europeans and their outrageous prices. The problem with gas is not that it costs $3 a gallon; $3 is a reasonable price. The problem is that that price has tripled in a mere seven years, that we got used to 95 cent gas that couldn't last. And now, just as gas is never going below $1/gallon again, it's never going below $2/gallon again, either. Adjustments are hard, but this is one adjustment that we have to get used to. Use Tums instead of Pepto Bismol to afford the switch, and get used to it.
