Wednesday, August 03, 2005 Bush Advocates Teaching Creationism In Schools
...or "Intelligent Design" to be more precise. He said as much today to a Texas paper. He also said something like it in '99, so it's not entirely news:
"I think it's an interesting part of knowledge [to have] a theory of evolution and a theory of creationism. People should be exposed to different points of view," Bush said during one 1999 appearance, according to a news account at the time. "I personally believe God created the Earth," he said." Bush, '99
But this time he's suggested more explicitly that it should be part of the curriculum in public school.
